Heropanti 2, more like Zeropanti 2. Even A.R Rahman’s music cannot salvage Tiger Shroff’s cringe-fest. And sadly even the music is hella generic.

Thoughts I had while watching Heropanti 2 – Yeh Flying Jatt ke pau kab zameen pe tikenge? Ek Chote Bachi bhi itni buri film nai direct karti! Sirf punches hai punchlines nai. How on earth did Nawazuddin Siddiqui agree to star in this?
Confession – I fell asleep for a good 10 mins in the theatre from all this baffling nonsense but didn’t miss much apparently.
Storyline:
Meet the Bullet-defier Babloo (Tiger), Annoying Inaaya (Tara) and Lol-worthy Laila (Nawazuddin)….
Laila is a murderous magician/cybercrime lord with exaggerated effeminate mannerisms and huge ambitions of hacking into the bank accounts of all Indians. Babloo is a hacker and apparently the only one who can put Laila’s nefarious plans to rest.
Tara plays Nawaz’s sister and Shroff’s girlfriend. She’s allegedly a self-made billionaire but passes the whole movie acting like a bratty billi chasing after Tiger. Amrita Singh appears as the overly earnest Mummyji. And hey, Chellam Sir from The Family Man 2 is here but utterly wasted in the role, of course.
Heropanti 2 also tries to rip off the chess scene from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone but Tiger’s not even playing, he’s just practising kickboxing on the giant figures left and right.
What Do We Think?
One dimensional characters, cringy dialogues, bizarre plot makes Heropanti 2 a total snooze-fest.
Tiger’s flying, prancing, and dancing act is starting to get dangerously monotonous now. Even his Bubble Butt can’t distract us from the trainwreck of this film.
Our sweet, Suite life Tara is reduced to playing ridiculously stupid, arm candy. She needs to choose better scripts than playing such dumb bimbo roles.
For Nawazuddin Siddiqui….only one question – aisi bhi kya majboori thi? Heropanti 2 doesn’t even fall into the it’s-so-bad-it’s-good category…it stays firmly in the painfully unfunny zone.
We wish Tiger’s martial art skills and dancing are put to good use in his next film, coz he just appears to be playing the same character over and over again.
Hit Or Miss?
BIG MISS. Unless you’re a masochist, then knock yourself out.
