Vaani Kapoor stars alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in this drama film. Shamshera is said to be a dacoit drama set in the 19th century. It will chronicle the story of a dacoit tribe fighting for their right and independence from the British.
2. Alia Bhatt – Takht
This Karan Johar directorial, Takht, also stars Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kaoor Khan, Anil Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor alongside Alia Bhatt. The film is a family saga set in the Mughal Era and focuses on the succession to the much coveted throne. Alia Bhatt is all set to star opposite Vicky Kaushal in this film.
3. Kriti Sanon – Adipurush
The cast of Adipurush has always been the point of conversation. The magnum opus makers have combined extremely talented artists in this film and Kriti Sanon is said to essay the role of Sita in the multi lingual film. This will be the second time she is starring in a period drama, her first outing in this genre being – Panipat.
