1- Rajkummar Rao
Patralekhaa and Rajkummar Rao have embarked on a new chapter in their careers with the launch of their production house, KAMPA Films. The name KAMPA holds deep personal significance, as it is derived from the initials of their mothers’ names. This serves as a heartfelt tribute to the unwavering support, values, and encouragement their families have instilled in them throughout their journey in the film industry.
2- Kriti Sanon
Kriti Sanon launched her own production company, named Blue Butterfly Films, under which she produced Do Patti, a mystery film for Netflix co-starring Kajol and Shaheer Sheikh.
3- Richa Chadha
Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal’s production house is called Pushing Buttons Studios. The couple launched the production house in March 2021. They produced Girls Will Be Girls, which was the couple’s first production, this coming-of-age drama premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2024. It also won awards at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles and the Transylvania International Film Festival. They also produced, Papita; a crime thriller directed by Akash Bhatia.
4- Alia Bhatt
In 2020, Alia Bhatt started her production company, Eternal Sunshine Productions, with its first film being Darlings. The movie was sold to Netflix for Rs 80 crore. Her production house also backs Jigra, an action thriller.
5- Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra’s production company is called Purple Pebble Pictures (PPP). She founded the company along with her mother, Dr. Madhu Chopra. The company aims to produce low-budget films and promote new talent in the Indian film industry. They have produced, Ventilator, Paani, and The Sky Is Pink.
6- Anushka Sharma
Anushka Sharma’s production house is Clean Slate Filmz, which she co-founded with her brother Karnesh Sharma in 2013. The company produces and distributes Hindi films and web series. They have produced, NH10, Pari, Bulbbul, Paatal Lok, and Chakda ‘Xpress.
7- Aamir Khan
Aamir Khan Productions (AKP) is India’s film production and distribution company. It was founded by actor Aamir Khan in 1999. The company’s headquarters are in Mumbai. The production house has produced, Lagaan, Taare Zameen Par, Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na, Peepli, Dangal and Laapata Ladies.
8- Dia Mirza
Dia Mirza is a producer who has worked with two production houses: Born Free Entertainment and One India Stories. They have produced Love Breakups Zindagi, Bobby Jasoos, and the Amazon Prime Video sitcom Mind the Malhotras.
