Salman Khan has finally spoken about his much-anticipated collaboration with Jawan director Atlee, confirming that the project is not moving forward as planned.

In a recent interaction for Sikandar promotions, Salman said, “I don’t think it’s happening right now. It was happening at one point in time. We tried really hard to work it out but something happened. I don’t know what exactly it was. I believe it was the budget of the film. It’s a very, very high-budgeted film. Hence, that film has been pushed. Woh film 2 film ka time leke chala jaata. Now, I have got enough time to do one film and then, I’ll do another film.”

While fans might be disappointed that the Atlee collaboration is on hold, Salman reassured them that he has other projects lined up. “I have two films in the pipeline. I’ll soon decide which one to do first,” he shared.
Salman Khan Might Reunite With Sooraj Barjatya
Apart from Atlee, there has been buzz about Salman reuniting with his Prem Ratan Dhan Payo director Sooraj Barjatya.
Addressing this, Salman said, “Bajratya saab is doing some film. Once he’s done with it, I’ll do his next film.”
The superstar also expressed his interest in returning to comedy but admitted that he hasn’t found the right script yet. “I am not able to get No Entry or Ready type comedy. If I have to do a comedy, then it has to be a film like No Entry. And if Andaz Apna Apna 2 ho jaati hai, then (nothing like it). I am sure Rajkumar Santoshi would do a fantastic job,” he added.
While Salman’s film with Atlee might not be happening anytime soon, fans can still look forward to his upcoming projects and potential return to comedy. His next – Sikandar, will be out in cinemas this Eid on 30 March 2025.
