Sonakshi Sinha was recently in the headlines after it was reported that a non-bailable warrant had been issued against her in an alleged fraud case.
As claimed by an event organizer Pramod Sharma, the actress had taken Rs 37 lakhs in advance for an event in 2019 but didn’t show up.
According to reports, Pramod also alleged that her team refused to return the money, after which he filed a case in Moradabad against her.
Now, the actress has finally broken her silence and called the allegations “rumours” and “pure fiction”.
Sonakshi Sinha Issues Official Statement:
On Tuesday (March 8), Sonakshi took to Instagram and said that the individual is seeking publicity and wants to extort money using her name.
She also requested the media houses not to carry this fake news and dismissed the reports of a ‘non-bailable warrant’ issued against her. Take a look at her statement below:
Post her statement, Sonakshi cheekily posted a pic of herself with a hot cup of tea, and used the hashtag ‘house arrest’.
On the work front, Sonakshi currently has movies like ‘Kakuda’ and ‘Double XL’ lined up in her kitty.
