Last year in November, Lionsgate Play announced its first-ever Indian original series strarring Lara Dutta & Pratik Babbar in the lead.
Titled ‘Hiccups & Hookups’, the Kunal Kohli directorial was appreaciated by the audience for it’s fresh concept.
The family dramedy, which revolves around the story of the Rao siblings, also featured Shinnova in a pivotal role.
‘Hiccups & Hookups’ is the Indian remake of the American comedy-drama series ‘Casual’.
Season 2 Announced:
On Friday (Januay 28), the makers have announced that the show has been renewed for its second season. Yes, Vasudha (played by Lara Dutta), Akhil (played by Prateik Babbar) and Kay (played by Shinnova) are all set to come back with more unfiltered conversations, dating advice and sibling banter.
The official synopsis of ‘Hiccups & Hookups’ reportedly reads – “A recently separated single mother, her commitment-phobic younger brother, and her smart but confused teenage daughter – all of whom make a sweet, unconventional family of three try their best to handle dating, relationships, and life.”
