THROWBACK: When Shah Rukh Khan Was FINED Rs 1.5 LAKHS By Sameer Wankhede At Mumbai Airport! See WHY-

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede has been in news since the arrest of Aryan Khan in the cruise ship drugs bust case.

Aryan, Shah Rukh Khan’s son, was granted bail by the Bombay High Court yesterday (October 28).

Wankhede has become a target of a lot of hatred after allegedly being accused of Rs 25 crore extortion charges in the Aryan Khan case.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time SRK’s path has crossed with Sameer Wankhede. As per a throwback report, Wankhede had once detained the ‘Om Shanti Om’ actor and interrogated him for several hours at the Mumbai airport in 2011.

SRK, who had arrived at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport after a family vacation in Holland and London, was stopped by Wankhede for allegedly carrying over 20 bags. During that time, Wankhede was the assistant commissioner of customs stationed at the airport.

Wankhede had grilled the actor and made him pay the customs duty of Rs 1.5 lakhs for carrying over-the-limit luggage. Reportedly, SRK’s luggage was also checked by Wankhede’s team for possible evasion of duty.
