Aryan Khan Drugs Case; 25 Crore Extortion Allegation Against NCB & More!

Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has been denied bail multiple times in the cruise ship drugs bust case.

The Bombay High Court will hear Aryan’s bail plea today (26th October). Among the latest updates in the case are the shocking allegations against the Narcotics Control Bureau.

Kiran Gosavi, Aryan Khan

25-Crore Pay-off Allegations Against NCB

As per NDTV report, Kiran Gosavi’s bodyguard Prabhakar Sail (a witness in the NCB) has claimed that Gosavi had planned to ask for ₹ 25 crores from SRK’s manager Pooja Dadlani and settle on 18 crores. (Kiran Gosavi is the private investigator whose selfie with Aryan Khan went viral)

He also stated that from the alleged extortion amount, 8 crore was to be paid to Sameer Wankhede, (NCB’s zonal director) who is leading the investigation.

“I entered the NCB office only after I was called in and asked to sign papers. When I objected to signing blank papers, Sameer Wankhede told me to sign and said nothing would happen. Kiran Gosavi also asked me to sign. There were so many officials, how could I have argued?” Prabhakar had said.

NCB Denies Allegations

Sameer Wankhede denies pay-off charge

However, NCB chief Sameer Wankhede has categorically DENIED these pay-off allegations as false and malicious.

Meanwhile, Aryan Khan’s lawyers have been insisting that the NCB is “misinterpreting” his WhatsApp chats to implicate him. They argued that no drugs were recovered from Aryan, he had no prior antecedents and was unlikely to abscond if granted bail.

The anti-drugs agency in return has made their case that – Aryan knew about 6 grams of charas hidden in his friend Arbaaz Merchant’s shoe, and thus, it amounted to “conscious possession”.
