Legendary Bollywood actor Shashi Kapoor’s grandson Zahan Kapoor is making his Bollywood debut in ‘Faraaz’.
Directed by Hansal Mehta, the action-thriller also features actor Paresh Rawal’s son Aditya Rawal.

‘Faraaz’ is based on 2016’s horrifying terror attack in Holey Artisan Bakery in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Aren’t you guys curious to know who’s the heroine?
Well, Pallak Lalwani– a south-Indian actress- is playing the female lead, opposite Zahan & Aditya. Pallak is making her Bollywood debut with this film.

Pallak, who made her acting debut with the Telugu film ‘Abbayitho Ammayi’, and her Tamil debut in ‘Kuppathu Raja’, is a well-known face in South Industry.
Talking about how she got the role, Pallak told the media, “I have been auditioning for a while with MCC (Mukesh Chhabra Casting). I was actually travelling when I got a call for this project and I had to shoot my audition clip outdoors with my friends who gave me cues and helped me record a self-test. Within a week’s time, I got a call and was locked in for the part.”
‘Faraaz’ is jointly produced by Anubhav Sinha’s Benaras Mediaworks, Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, along with Mahana Films’ Sakshi Bhatt, Sahil Saigal, and Mazahir Mandasaurwala.
