On August 4, the team unveiled the first look of the movie, which also stars Paresh Rawal’s son Aditya Rawal. Anubhav Sinha, Bhushan Kumar, and Sahil Saigal are jointly bankrolling this action-thriller.
Sharing the 20-second-long video on Instagram, Zahan wrote, “Elaan-e-Faraaz!

What’s the movie based on?
‘Faraaz’ is based on the horrifying terror attack in Holey Artisan Bakery in Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2016. The thriller revolves around the night of 1 July 2016, where over 50 people were held as hostages at the café for almost 12 dreadful hours, as per the official synopsis.
Filmmaker Hansal Mehta said in a statement, “Faraaz is a story of deep humanity and its ultimate triumph in the face of violent adversity. While it is based on true events, it is also a deeply personal story that I’ve held close to my heart for nearly 3 years.”
