Vidya Balan starrer ‘Sherni’ seems to be running into quite a few troubles and controversies of late.
Recently, the shooting had been halted as her co-actor Vijay Raaz was accused of molestation by a female crew member.
Now, as per Times Now report, the film’s shoot, which is currently happening in Madhya Pradesh (Balaghat) was allegedly halted when Vidya Balan turned down a dinner invite by Madhya Pradesh Forest minister Vijay Shah.
As per reports, vehicles of the production team were allegedly stopped from entering a forest for shooting, a day after the actress turned down the invitation. District Forest Officer (DFO) of Balaghat stopped the vehicles of the team from entering the forest, saying only two vehicles were allowed.
However, MP minister Vijay Shah has refuted these allegations and said that it was he, instead, who had refused the invite.
“Was there(Balaghat)on request from those who took permission for shoot & requested me for lunch/dinner. I said not possible now, I’ll meet them when I go to Maharashtra. Lunch/dinner was cancelled, shoot wasn’t.”
