Actor Arjun Rampal had been summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau after the officials found ‘two banned tablets’ during their raid of his Mumbai home.
The model-actor later told NCB officials that he had a doctor’s prescriptions for those tablets which fell under NDPS Act.
The actor was called for interrogation today by NCB in connection with the anti-drug probe.
According to NDTV, the actor was questioned for over 6 hours. “I am fully cooperating with the investigation. I have nothing to do with drugs. The medicine found at my residence was prescribed. The prescription has been found and handed over,” the actor said.
While leaving the agency’s office, the actor said that he is supporting the officers in their investigation. He further added, “Sameer Wankhede is doing a good job.”
Both Arjun and his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades were summoned by the NCB officials after they conducted a raid at the actor’s residence at suburban Bandra on Monday.
Earlier, the probe agency had seized electronic gadgets like laptops, mobile phones, and tablets during their raid and later questioned Rampal’s driver.
