Actor Arjun Rampal was questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau, in November, regarding the Bollywood drugs case.
The model-turned-actor came under the NCB scanner after the officials found ‘two banned tablets’ during their raid in his house.
On Tuesday, the NCB summoned Arjun for the second time to appear today for questioning regarding the ongoing drug probe related to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.
According to ETimes, Arjun, however, didn’t appear before the NCB and has asked for time till 21st December. While seeking some extra time, the actor cited personal reasons.
“Actor Arjun Rampal seeks time till 21st December, to appear before NCB,” an official told ANI. Check the tweet below:
The NCB is yet to issue a new date for the ‘Rock On’ actor to appear before them.
The NCB last month conducted a raid at Rampal’s residence in Mumbai and seized electronic gadgets and some medicines banned under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
On November 13, NCB officials interrogated Arjun after his Australian friend Paul Bartel was arrested in a drug-related case. Reportedly, Bartel was in contact with Arjun Rampal’s partner Gabriella’s brother Agisialos Demetriades.
Meanwhile, Agisialos, who was arrested in October, was granted bail on Tuesday by a special narcotics court.
Earlier, it was reported that the NCB had seized gadgets of many actors and associates for data extraction.
