Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja tied the knot on May 8, 2018. The couple is celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary today.
On this special occasion, here’s a throwback to Anand’s sweet proposal to Sonam! Also, did you know Sonam’s expensive and magnificent wedding ring is allegedly worth a whopping 90 LAKHS?
Apparently, the couple were in New York and Sonam was in a foul mood – due to a fight she had because she had been ‘PMSing really badly’…and also due to losing her favourite sunglasses.
“He picked me up from my pilates class, which was a huge disaster as well, and I was really pissed off. I remember we were walking to the hotel. He had his bike…he likes to cycle…and I was walking with him. He just got down on his knee in the middle of the New York street and said, ‘Will you marry me?’ I was like, ‘I was such a b***h all day’,” Sonam on her proposal story.
Sonam had said yes immediately and also knelt down beside him!
The couple are now proud parents to baby boy Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. On the work front, Sonam hit the headlines recently for her appearance and speech at King Charles III’s Coronation Concert!
