He revealed that a fan-girl once arrived at his bungalow with a pandit, determined to marry him. However, since Ranbir wasn’t home, she took an unexpected step.

As per reports, Ranbir told Mashable India, “I wouldn’t call it the craziest experience, as that has a negative connotation, but there was a girl—I never met her—who came to my house with a pandit and actually married my gate!

He went on to describe how his bungalow’s gate was decorated with tika and flowers, as if a wedding ceremony had taken place in his absence. “At the house where I lived with my parents, I came back to see tika and flowers on the gate. I was out of town at the time, so that was quite crazy. I haven’t met my first wife yet, so I look forward to meeting you someday!” he added with a laugh.

While the incident may sound eccentric, it highlights the extreme lengths some fans go to express their admiration. Ranbir, who married Alia Bhatt in April 2022, takes it all in stride. The couple welcomed their daughter, Raha, in November 2022.

On the work front, Ranbir is gearing up for his next big project, Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film will see him reunite with Alia Bhatt on screen, alongside Vicky Kaushal, making it one of the most highly anticipated films in recent years.
