Salaar Day 1 Collection Beats Jawan & Pathaan
The opening figure of Salaar also surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s two blockbuster movies of 2023 — Pathaan and Jawan, which had earned βΉ106 crore and βΉ129.6 crore in worldwide gross on their opening days, as well as Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal with βΉ116 crore on the first day.
Salaar Day 1 Collection – Biggest Opener Of 2023
As per Sacnilk, Salaar 1 Day India Net Collection – 90.70 Crores and India Gross Collection is 107.10 Crores and the Overseas Collection is 53.90 Crores.
Directed by Prasanth Neel, Salaar is set in the fictional city of Khansaar, and revolves around best friends Deva (Prabhas) and Vardha (Prithviraj Sukumaran) who become arch enemies.
Salaar Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam
The actioner also stars stars Shruti Haasan, Sriya Reddy and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. The film was produced by Vijay Kiragandur and will be released in two parts: Salaar: Part 1 β Ceasefire and Shouryaanga Parvam as Part 2.
Director Prashanth Neel clarified in pre-release interviews that the filming for part 2 is yet to start and production will begin later.
As per reports, Salaar has raked in a whopping amount of Rs 350 crores for its satellite, digital and also audio rights. The actioner is clashing at the box office with Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. This is the second-biggest opener of Prabhas after Baahubali 2.
