Gadar 2 1st Weekend – Crossed 134.88 Crores already!
On Day 1 it raked in 40.10 crores and on Saturday (Day 2) it made 43.08 crores. The numbers saw a huge boost on Sunday (Day 3) with a 51.70 crore collection!
Gadar 2 is having a blockbuster weekend and riding high on the nostalgia factor of part 1. The upcoming Independence Day holiday tomorrow will no doubt see an enormous rise in the collections.
Set in 1971, Gadar 2 brings back Tara Singh – this time to rescue his son Charanjeet Singh from the Pakistani Army.
Talking about Gadar 2’s success Sunny Deol commented – “I am indeed very happy. When we did the second part of Gadar, we never knew it would be so loved by the audience. Two whole generations have gone by since we did the first Gadar. And still, people are as excited as they were the first time. I am amazed and very very happy. We need some hits to keep the film industry on its feet.”
