Former Miss World and actress Manushi Chhillar is all set to make her Telugu movie debut.
The 25-year-old made her Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar in Samrat Prithviraj.
Manushi Chhillar will be seen with Varun Tej in his upcoming Hindi-Telugu aerial action drama. Tentatively titled #VT13, the movie celebrates the valour of Indian Air Force and is inspired by true events.
Directed by debutante Shakti Pratap Singh Hada, who is a seasoned ad-film maker, ciinematographer, VT13 reportedly went on floors yesterday (March 3).
Taking to Instagram, Manushi announced the news and shared a video. She captioned it, “Here’s to those who touch the sky with glory. Excited to be teaming up with @varunkonidela7 in #VT13.”
In the movie, Varun will be seen as Indian Air Force pilot, while Manushi essays the role of a radar officer. The film will be shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu.
Talking about the movie, Manushi said in a statement –
“I am elated to be a part of this incredible spectacle filled with action and working with Sony Pictures International Productions and Renaissance Pictures. I am grateful to my director, Shakti Pratap Singh Hada, for trusting in me, and I am excited to know the life and journey of the officers in the Indian Air Force. It is an exciting beginning to sharing screen space with Varun Tej.”
