What Do We Think?
Taapsee Pannu marks her production debut with Blurr. The actress shines bright as she slips into the character of a visually challenged woman. Taapsee excels in a few intense scenes, especially where she is blindfolded.
Gulshan Devaiah lends decent support to the movie in the limited part that he has. However, the chemistry between Neel & Gayatri is a bit disappointing.
The concept of Blurr is engaging but somewhere it gets blurred in terms of execution. After delivering a movie like Section 375, Ajay Bahl‘s direction is not up to the mark in this movie.
Set in the backdrop of the hilly region in Nainital, the palette of the movie – cold, chilling, and spooky mystery – adds to the eerie and haunting theme. While the thriller factor fluctuates in between, the reveal in the climax pays off.
Hit Or Miss?
