Teaser of Om Raut’s Adipurush was released recently. It is an adaptation of the Ramayana epic.
Starring Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan. Sunny Singh is playing the role of Lakshman.
Though the teaser was eagerly anticipated, it’s been receiving severe backlash on release for its allegedly poor VFX. For the unversed, Adipurush was reportedly made on a 500-CRORE budget.
People said the anime Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama was miles better than Adipurush. Some also praised Brahmastra and RRR in comparison, for providing the visual spectacle their budgets promised.
