Emraan Hashmi is currently busy shooting for Dharma Productions’s upcoming dramedy – Selfiee.
He also has Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif-starrer Tiger 3 lined up in his kitty.
Now, as per Peeping Moon report, Emraan has supposedly been roped in to headline Excel Entertainment’s upcoming military drama – Ground Zero.
Directed by Marathi filmmaker Tejas Vijay Deoskar (who helmed Madhuri Dixit’s debut Marathi movie Bucket List), the movie supposedly sees Emraan in the role of an army officer.

As the report further suggests, the movie is set in Kashmir and Emraan has reportedly been sent to the state on a dangerous mission.
However, there is no official confirmation yet.
For the unversed, Back in 2017, Emraan Hashmi was set to play an army officer in his maiden production – Captain Nawab.

Reportedly, the movie got shelved after the Ministry of Defence denied the makers a “No Objection Certificate” as they were wary of how the film would highlight the sensitive India-Pakistan relationship.
