Priyanka Chopra had recently celebrated her 39th birthday away from home but she didn’t feel the absence of hubby Nick Jonas after all!
They say people express love through gifts and Nick Jonas seemed to ace the gesture.
Priyanka is on a tight schedule for most of the year and the stunning actress was having a quiet 39th in London last Sunday (18th July). Nick, being the doting husband as usual, sent his lovely wife a bottle of red wine to enjoy. But don’t be fooled! That’s not just any wine, it’s one of the rarest and most expensive bottles you’d find out there.
Jonas sent a 1982 Chateau Mouton Rothschild bottle all the way from the United States to Priyanka. PC took to Instagram and shared with her fans the adorable gesture as she wrote, “Love you, Nick Jonas”.
The 1982 Chateau Mouton Rothschild is a rare wine that retails at about ₹1,31,375 for a 750ml bottle. It is produced with merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc, as per a report.
Taking a mini throwback to their engagement, remember when Nick shut down an entire Tiffany store to get his lady the perfect ring? We can’t help but want a Nick for ourselves too. The man is all about Priyanka and we could see it right from the start.
Nick had said, “All I knew she said that it has to be Tiffany’s. It had a special connection with her father who passed some years away. I knew it had to be Tiffany’s and at that point, I just said, guys, I need help. So they came. Both of them have done it before and had done a very good job.”
