Prajakta has come a long way from YouTube. She has starred in Netflix’s series ‘Mismatched’ with Rohit Saraf, which has garnered great critical appreciation and was deeply loved by the audience.
She is also set to make her big Bollywood debut in the Dharma Production film ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’, which stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor & Neetu Kapoor.
Adding another star to her mantle, the 2020 Creators for Change YouTube Original Documentary, which focuses on Michelle Obama, in conversation with Prajakta, Liza Koshy, and Theme Mahlaba has won under the category of ‘Outstanding Daytime Non-Fiction Special’ at the 48th annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
Aside from this honour, Prajakta’s maiden short film ‘Khayali Pulao’ was screened at the New York Indian Film Festival in June. It revolves around a 17-year-old small-town girl’s attempt to get into the local handball team, her struggles, and her triumphs.
