Last month the veteran actor Dilip Kumar was hospitalized for routine check-ups.
Now, we hear that the yesteryear actor has again been admitted to a hospital on Sunday morning.
According to the latest HT reports, Dilip Kumar has been taken to PD Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai after he complained of breathlessness for the past few days. As Peeping Moon suggests, he has been put on ventilator support as his oxygen level is said to be below 50, and Dr. Jalil Parker is monitoring the veteran actor’s health.
A tweet on the official Twitter handle of the actor reads, “Dilip Sahab has been admitted to non-Covid PD Hinduja Hospital Khar for routine tests and investigations. He’s had episodes of breathlessness. A team of healthcare workers led by Dr. Nitin Gokhale is attending to him. Please keep Sahab in your prayers and please stay safe.”
Dilip Kumar’s wife Saira Banu told The Indian EXPRESS, “After experiencing breathlessness, we took Dilip Sahab to the hospital in Khar Road at 8.30 am. Doctors are treating him and we have got a few tests done, we are awaiting reports. Please pray for him that he feels better and we can take him home quickly.”
Reportedly, Dilip Kumar is under the care of a team of senior doctors, Cardiologist Dr. Nitin Gokhale and Pulmonologist Dr. Jalil Parkar, at the hospital.
