Kartik Aaryan has been in the news quite often lately and sadly for the wrong reasons.
After the Dostana 2 fall-out with Karan Johar, news broke out that Kartik walked out of (some said he was dropped) ‘Goodbye Freddie’, backed by SRK’s production.
The Dhamaka actor had allegedly also returned the 2 crore signing amount. Controversy was stirred yet again as rumours went rife that Kartik had been replaced in an Aanand L Rai film by Ayushmann Khurrana.
Aanand’s team was quick to rubbish these reports – pointing out that both actors had been approached for two DIFFERENT projects. Now, Anubhav Sinha (of Thappad and Article 15 fame) has jumped to Kartik’s defense, slamming the ‘campaign’ against the actor.
He wrote – “And by the way… when Producers drop Actors or vice versa they don’t talk about it. It happens all the time. This campaign against Kartik Aryarn seems concerted to me and very bloody unfair. I respect his quiet.”
On the work front, Kartik Aaryan has Dhamaka’s Netflix release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo remake. He also has two important collabs – first a film with Sajid Nadiadwala, and he’s all set to play an IAF officer in Hansal Mehta’s next.
