It was previously reported that Kartik Aaryan had opted out of ‘Goodbye Freddie’ movie and even returned the 2 crore signing amount.
He was allegedly supposed to star opposite Katrina Kaif for the project.
And the film was supposed to be helmed by director Ajay Bahl. But as per latest update from Pinkvilla, things have turned out to be quite different.
Kartik WILL be starring in ‘Freddy’ but instead of Ajay Bahl, Veere Di Wedding fame Shashanka Ghosh will be directing this romantic thriller movie. Ekta Kapoor and Jay Shewakramani will be producing it.
A source told the portal that ‘Freddy’ is in pre-production stage and will go on floors from August in Mumbai. Pinkvilla report further said that the female lead is being kept under wraps (so let’s wait and see if Katrina is actually onboard or not).
The Luka Chuppi actor also has ‘Dhamaka’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo remake’, ‘Satyanaryan Ki Katha’ (title going to change) and the newly announced Hansal Mehta film – ‘Captain India’.
