Taapsee Pannu is reuniting with her Manmarziyaan director Anurag Kashyap, and the duo has some clutter-breaking content up their sleeve this time.
The makers have chosen a rather interesting teaser to unveil the movie – which is a science fiction project revolving around… TIME TRAVEL.
Hell yeah, Bollywood! The movie’s titled ‘Dobaaraa’ which also neatly aligns with the time ‘2:12’…. one can’t help notice the clever ‘Naam hi time hai, aur time hi naam hai’ connection they’ve made.
This sci-fi thriller is being produced by Cult Movies (a new division under Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms) along with Sunir Kheterpal’s ATHENA and Gaurav Bose’s The Vermillion World Production.
Taapsee announced that the filming will begin soon while adding “Time. Space. Universe. 2021 will make you question everything.”

“One stormy night everything changed. Time, space, dimension and the universe. Set out on the journey of the unseen and unknown with us. Dobaaraa, a film that will make you wonder everything that revolves around you, questioning the reality that you are in,” – reads the teaser’s description.
How many ‘2:12’ connections did you spot? Incidentally, today’s date is also 12/02/2021 (so 2nd Month, 12th day) and the length of the teaser is also 2:12 minutes! Mind blown? We, for sure, can’t wait to know more. Maybe they will release the movie on 2nd December, going with the 2:12 theme? Let’s wait and watch.
