The Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested Kshitij Ravi Prasad, who was an employee at Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
During a raid of Kshitij’s place, small amounts of marijuana were found by the officials after which he was taken by the NCB for interrogation.
As per a Times Now report, Kshitij was evasive during his questioning and the NCB found his answers were allegedly unsatisfactory. He also reportedly bought huge amounts of drugs on a regular basis.
Karan Johar has issued a statement of his own earlier today on his Instagram where he stated not knowing Kshitij, who was Dharma’s ex-executive producer, on a personal level.
KJo wrote, “Mr Kshitij Ravi Prasad joined Dharmatic Entertainment in November 2019 as one of the executive producers on contract basis for a project which eventually did not materialise.”
“I would like to further state that several media/news channels have been airing news reports that Kshitij Prasad and Anubhav Chopra are my ‘aides’/’close aides’. I would like to place on record that I don’t know these individuals personally and neither of these two individuals is ‘aides’ or ‘close aides’,” Johar continued.
Kshitij in his statement spilt many beans against the Bollywood drug cartel and also named several A-listers from the film fraternity linked to the drug nexus.
