Bollywood’s veteran action director Parvez Khan, who has directed action scenes in films such as Andhadhun and Badlapur, passed away this Monday after he suffered a massive heart attack.
Parvez Khan was only 55 years old and had been a part of the industry since 1986.
After complaints about severe chest pain, Khan was rushed into Ruby hospital where the doctors concluded it is a heart attack. Long time associate of the late director, Nishant Khan, spoke to PTI saying, “He suffered a major heart attack in the morning. He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead. He didn’t have any health issues but felt chest pain last night.”
Director Hansal Mehta also posted a tweet grieving the loss of Parvez Khan. He tweeted, “Just heard that action director Parvez Khan is no more. We had worked together in Shahid where he executed the riots sequence in a single take. Very skilful, energetic and a good man. RIP Parvez. Your voice still rings in my ears!”
