Sushant Singh Rajput’s rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty had kept silent on social media after his demise.
On the one month anniversary of his death, she finally broke her silence with an emotional farewell post.
The actress is still on the receiving end of harsh, vile threats and now she has had enough of the toxicity. Rhea has called out the Instagram user ‘@mannu_raaut‘ for subjecting her to rape and death threats.
The actress wrote that her silence on being slut-shamed, and being called a gold-digger and murderer didn’t give anyone the right to threaten her with rape and murder or abetment of suicide.
“I was called a gold digger .. I kept quiet. I was called a murderer …. I kept quiet. I was slut-shamed ….I kept quiet. But how does my silence give you the right to tell me that you will get me RAPED and MURDERED if I don’t commit suicide @mannu_raaut?”
Rhea further emphasized that these were crimes and no one should be subjected to such toxic harassment. She has now requested the Cyber Crime India and the Cyber Crime Helpline to take the necessary action against the user.
“Do you realize the seriousness of what you have said? These are crimes, and by law no one, I repeat NO ONE should be subjected to this kind of toxicity and harassment. I request @cyber_crime_helpline @cybercrimeindia to please take necessary action. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH”
