Rekha’s Bandra Bungalow ‘Sea Springs’ was sealed and declared as Containment Zone by BMC after her security guard tested positive.
Earlier, a civic official had informed that Rekha did not want the BMC to test her, so she had said she would get the Covid-19 test done on her own and then submit reports.
However, as per the latest report by DNA, the veteran actress has reportedly refused to get her Covid-19 test done and even obstructed BMC officials from entering her house to sanitize it.
Rekha and her manager Farzana along with three servants of the house were supposed to have their tests done. Chief Medical Officer of BMC H West ward Sanjay Phude said that Rekha’s manager Farzana had declared that the veteran actress was fit and fine and hadn’t come in contact with anyone who had contracted the virus.
Furthermore, the sanitization crew sent to the bungalow were also made to return from the door. They sanitized the house from outside along with the surrounding areas including the security guard’s cabin.
“Rekha has said that she will undergo a COVID-19 test if she finds any symptoms. She has promised to inform BMC via phone about the same,” BMC official said to ABP News.
Four more watchmen in the locality close to her bungalow have also tested positive for Coronavirus.
