Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon is currently basking in the success of her OTT debut series ‘Aranyak’.
Directed by Vinay Waikul, the supernatural crime thriller show was released on Netflix on December 10, 2021.
Raveena plays the role of a police officer named Kasturi Dogra in the series, which also features Parambrata Chatterjee, Ashutosh Rana, amongst others, in pivotal roles.
Now, after receiving positive responses for ‘Aranyak’, we hear that the series might get a season 2. Producer Sidharth Roy Kapur has reportedly revealed that the team has already started working on the 2nd part.
Sidharth told the media, “You can expect a season two and that’s something the team is working on very hard. With the love the show has received from the audience, we have a lot to live up to and we hope season two matches up to the first one.”
“The characters of Kasturi Dogra and Angad will take forward things from here. There will be Mahadev (Ashutosh Rana) as well. These three characters are the fulcrum of the show. The end of season one gave a hint to it. However, we can’t talk much about part two,” he added.
About Aranyak:
Set in the dense forest of the Himalayas, the series follows two cops, Kasturi (Raveena Tandon) & Angad (Parambrata Chatterjee) on a journey to find a foreign missing tourist and revives the myth of a bloodthirsty entity in the forest.
