Rakul Preet Singh, Rana Daggubati & Others SUMMONED By ED As WITNESSES In 2017 Drugs Case!

Last year, Rakul Preet Singh along with Sara Ali Khan and others had been summoned by NCB in relation to SSR case drug angle.

Now, recently news went viral that Rakul has been summoned in yet another drug case.

As per India Today report, in relation to a 4-year old drug case, the Enforcement Directorate has summoned 12 Tollywood actors and directors, including Rakul Preet Singh, Rana Daggubati, Ravi Teja, Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Mumaith Khan, and others.

They are being called in as ‘witnesses’ in the case, and have NOT been named ‘accused’ till now. These celebs were previously questioned in 2017 by the Special Investigation Team probing the drug racket. They had DENIED having any role in it.

As per India.com report – back in 2017, the Telangana Excise and Prohibition Department had seized drugs worth Rs 30 Lakh. 12 cases were registered and 11 charge sheets were filed. Later on, the case was shifted to the Enforcement Directorate for the money laundering angle.

ED has summoned Rakul Preet Singh on September 6 and Rana Daggubati on September 8 and the others till September 22.
