Crime shows like- ‘Savdhaan India’ & ‘Crime Patrol’ are very popular almost in every Indian household.
Now, we hear some shocking news that two actresses, who have worked in these shows, have allegedly been arrested.
According to India Today, two TV actresses- Surabhi Surendra Lal Srivastava (25) and Mosina Mukhtar Sheikh (19) have supposedly been arrested by Mumbai police on June 18 (Friday) in connection with a robbery case.
Mumbai police told ANI, on May 18, both these actors fled from a building in the Royal Palm Area of Aarey Colony that they were staying in, after allegedly stealing Rs 3,28,000 from the locker of a woman, who was also staying as a paying guest in the same accommodation.
The woman, who was robbed of her money, had filed a complaint at the Aarey Police Station, wherein she suspected that Surabhi and Mukhtar stole her savings. As per the report, the police caught the two actresses leaving the building with the cash during the investigation. Later, while interrogating them, when police showed them the CCTV footage, Surabhi and Mosina broke down and confessed to their crime.
