Dilip Kumar had been admitted to Hinduja Hospital on June 6 due to breathlessness.
The 98-year-old veteran actor had been diagnosed with Bilateral Pleural Effusion aka ‘water on the lungs’.
After a successful pleural aspiration procedure, Dilip Kumar was supposed to be discharged soon.
On Friday, his close family friend Faisal Farooqui updated everyone with the good news that the ailing actor was returning home.
Born as Mohammed Yusuf Khan and professionally known as Dilip Kumar, he had debuted with Jwar Bhata in 1944 and had acted in more than 65 films. His body of work includes iconic films like Devdas, Mughal-e-Azam, Daag, Ram Aur Shyam. Dilip Sahab was last seen in the 1998 movie Qila.
