Aditya Roy Kapur has finally reacted to Ranveer Singh’s accusation about stealing his girlfriend.
For those who don’t know Ranveer had made his shocking relevation on Neha Dhupia’s podcast show in 2017.
Talking about Aditya, Ranveer said, “Aditya’s always been a hottie. Even when we were 16-17 (years old). I was like this, a preppy tight T-shirt boy from HR college.”
Further adding he said, “He was like this Afro keeping hippy boy, you know, he was a fast bowler and he was all athletic and all. He was like every girl’s fantasy in junior college and the girl that I was crazy about that time who is now married with a kid, I was mad about her. It was a good 4-5 years that I was crazy over her. And then she finally broke up with me. It was in order to move onto a certain Aditya Roy Kapur.”
Three years later, Aditya has now clarified his side on the issue. He told Mumbai Mirror that Ranveer was just being overdramatic while sharing the story of his heartbreak and that he had started dating the girl months after her and Ranveer’s breakup.
“Maybe, I didn’t know how he felt,” he said. Claiming that he did not steal his girlfriend, he further said, “Only around eight months after that, did I start seeing her.”
Ranveer is now happily married to actor Deepika Padukone. They tied the knot in Italy on November 14, 2018. On the other hand, Aditya Roy Kapur was last allegedly dating supermodel Diva Dhawan.
