The Railway Men Series Teaser | Netflix | R Madhavan, Babil Khan, Kay Kay Menon & Divyenndu | Watch Video –
The Railway Men series teaser was dropped recently. Based on the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy, the 4-episode series stars R Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Babil Khan and Divyenndu in the lead.
Directed by Shiv Rawail, the highly-anticipated Netflix series is produced by YRF Entertainment. On Saturday (28th October), the makers dropped the teaser of the series.
In the the 1-minute-23-second video, four unsung heroes of the Indian Railways – the railway men – are seen going beyond their call of duty, trying to save the lives of hundreds of innocent citizens trapped in a helpless city, Bhopal.
In The Railway Men, Madhavan plays the role of Rati Pandey, the General Manager of the Central Railways, while Menon will be seen as station manager. Babil slips into the character of a local pilot and Divyenndu is seen as the constable.
Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Netflix captioned it –
“One tragic night that stirred the entire nation and four heroes who fought through it all.
Here’s the teaser for #TheRailwayMen – a four episode series inspired by true stories.”
The Railway Men Release Date:
Premieres on Netflix on 18th November 2023!
About Bhopal Gas Tragedy:
The Bhopal disaster or Bhopal gas tragedy was a chemical accident on the night of 2–3 December 1984 at the Union Carbide India Limited (UCIL) pesticide plant in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. Considered the world’s worst industrial disaster, over 500,000 people in the small towns around the plant were exposed to the highly toxic gas methyl isocyanate (MIC).
