Following Ibrahim Ali Khan’s debut in Nadaaniyan, another star kid is ready to enter the spotlight—Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter, Shanaya Kapoor.
Shanaya Kapoor Tu Yaa Main Teaser:
She will star alongside Adarsh Gourav in Tu Yaa Main, directed by Bejoy Nambiar, known for films like Shaitan, Wazir, and Taish.
The teaser hints that Tu Yaa Main is a gripping survival thriller. It begins with Adarsh Gourav’s character, a YouTuber embarking on an adventure outside Mumbai. As he films content for his channel, he dips in a serene lake. There, he encounters the striking Shanaya Kapoor, who is revealed to be “more famous than him.” Playfully, he asks her to collaborate on a video and flirts as they enjoy the chilly waters. However, the lighthearted moment takes a terrifying turn when a crocodile suddenly appears, pulling Adarsh underwater while Shanaya watches in horror, screaming.
Shanaya shared the teaser and wrote, “Love. Terror. And a collab gone very, very wrong. Who’s more excited for this one #TuYaaMain? #LikeShareSurvive #Valentines2026.”
The film is produced by Aanand L. Rai and Himanshu Sharma. Rai, known for supporting projects like Tumbbad, Mukkabaaz, and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, has built a reputation for delivering unique storytelling. His last directorial venture was Raksha Bandhan, starring Akshay Kumar, which, unfortunately, did not perform well at the box office.
Director Bejoy Nambiar shared his thoughts on Tu Yaa Main, stating, “This film pushes the boundaries of romance and survival, blending emotional depth with intense thrills. The dynamic between Adarsh and Shanaya, with their contrasting energies, adds to the film’s unpredictability. Set against the backdrop of a relentless wilderness, Tu Yaa Main offers a unique canvas to explore complex characters and their journey.”
In addition to Tu Yaa Main, Shanaya Kapoor will also star in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan alongside Vikrant Massey. She recently completed filming for the project in Baku, Azerbaijan.
