In a candid conversation with Instant Bollywood, the super-talented, self-made dancer-turned-actress Nora Fatehi spilled the beans on her love for high-end handbags and how she may have gone a little overboard with her shopping habits!

When asked what her first big splurge was, Nora didn’t hesitate to confess, “For me, it was a bag. I love my bags! Oh my God, my handbags have drained my bank account. My Moroccan manager even had to sit me down for an intervention and say, ‘Enough is enough. Look at your statement; it’s all LV and Dior!'”

And her very first luxury purchase? A gorgeous Louis Vuitton bag…. bought straight from Paris! Sounds like a dream, right? But even Nora had to fight her inner voice before making that big decision. “My first luxury purchase was an LV bag. It was like ‘Oh my God, I did this for me!’ It was so empowering. I bought it in Paris. I remember seeing that bag and thinking, ‘Nora, don’t make a stupid move; you need to think about your future.’ I kept walking away, but it felt like it was calling me.”

Now, with more experience, she has a little advice for everyone dreaming of luxury splurges – “Now, I’d say invest your money – get one or two nice bags, then invest wisely. Don’t do what I did; I was a bit crazy!”
