Actors Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR are gearing up to film an eagerly awaited dance sequence for War 2 at Yash Raj Studios in Andheri, directed by Ayan Mukerji, according to Mid-Day.
The shoot, featuring Kiara Advani, will center around a climactic dance-off and is scheduled to conclude by March 10.

Producer Aditya Chopra conceived the dance-off to blend the film’s stylized action with a standout performance by the two skilled dancers. Hrithik Roshan returns as R&AW agent Kabir Dhaliwal, facing off against Jr NTR’s antagonist in a hideout, where the dance battle seamlessly transitions into the climactic fight. Both actors have spent 15 days rehearsing individually to create an organic on-screen rivalry. The sequence is set against an elaborate backdrop designed by production designer Amrita Mahal Nakai, with Pritam composing a high-energy track featuring over 500 dancers.

The dance sequence is the result of a carefully crafted creative vision by Aditya Chopra, Ayan Mukerji, and choreographer Bosco Martis, designed to enhance War 2’s appeal. According to a source quoted in the report, “In the sequence, Hrithik, reprising his role as R&AW agent Kabir Dhaliwal, infiltrates the hideout of the antagonist, played by Jr NTR. This leads to an electrifying dance battle that seamlessly transitions into the climactic fight set-piece.”
The grand scale of the shoot has led to heightened security measures to maintain secrecy. The source revealed, “Aware that the track will spark curiosity among fans and the media, Adi has intensified security at the location. Phones are strictly prohibited on set to prevent any leaks, and each crew member has been issued a badge to ensure there are no security breaches.”
The film is expected to hit theaters on August 14 this year.
