Here’s some exciting news for Bollywood fans. Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor will be seen together in a love story.
It appears that both producer Dinesh Vijan and actor Sidharth Malhotra are seeking a fresh perspective.
While Vijan has enjoyed significant success in the comedy-horror genre with films like Stree 2 and Munjya, Malhotra has faced some challenges in the action space.
After wrapping up the action film Yodha, Malhotra has decided to step away from the genre for now. He has opted out of another action project, Mitti, and has instead signed a romantic love story under Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. The untitled film, directed by Tushar Jalota, will feature Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead.
This marks the first collaboration between Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, who has received positive reviews for both her recent films, Mr & Mrs Mahi and Ulajh.
Malhotra has been navigating a somewhat challenging phase in his career, with several of his recent films underperforming at the box office. His OTT debut, Indian Police Force, also faced mixed reactions. However, his previous successes in films like Student Of The Year, Ek Villain, and Shershaah (co-starring his now-wife Kiara Advani) demonstrate his potential.
Interestingly, marriage seems to have brought good fortune to Kiara Advani. Her post-marriage release, Satyaprem Ki Katha, was a commercial hit, and she has also secured prominent roles in films like Don 3.
