The actress recently took home the Filmfare award in the ‘Best Actress’ category for her performance in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
Alia Bhatt is currently one of the most sought-after actresses in the Indian film industry. She made her Bollywood debut with Student Of The Year in 2012. She left her mark with notable performances in films like Highway, Dear Zindagi, Raazi, Gully Boy, Darlings and Gangubai Kathiawadi to name a few.
The actress is set to captivate the audience with her upcoming movies.
1) Love & War
After the grand success of Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia is all set to reunite with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his upcoming directorial, Love & War, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
Scheduled to have a Christmas 2025 release, the epic saga is said to be a original love story that is set against against the backdrop of a war.
2) Jigra
Alia will headline her upcoming production venture, Jigra, which marks her 2nd film as a producer after Darlings. Directed by Vasan Bala (of Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota and Monica, O My Darling fame), the action-thriller is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions.
The film also stars The Archies fame Vedang Raina in a prominent role. Jigra will release in theatres on 27th September 2024!
3) Brahmastra 2
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor paired up for the first time in Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva. They will also be seen in the second part.
Director Ayan Mukerji also shared glimpses from the early concept work of Brahmastra: Part 2 – Dev. The film is expected to go on floors by the end of this year. The 2nd part will release in December 2026, while the third part in December 2027.

4) Baiju Bawra
After Gully Boy and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt were supoosed to reunite again for Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra. However, according to Bollywood Hungama, the film is now on hold due to its Rs 350-crore budget.

5) Jee Le Zaraa
This female-led road trip movie – Jee Le Zaraa – was announced back in 2021 with Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the lead. The Farhan Akhtar directorial is yet to go on floors.
