According to a report by Mid-Day, she is backing a young adult web series for Amazon Prime Video under her production banner, Eternal Sunshine Productions.

After co-producing her 2024 film Jigra, she’s now teaming up with Amazon Prime Video for a young adult web series. Created under her banner, Eternal Sunshine Productions, the series will delve into the vibrant and relatable world of urban college life.
A standout element of this upcoming series is its emphasis on introducing fresh talent. According to a source quoted in the report, “Alia is keen on casting real-life 20-somethings who the audience can genuinely connect with. The series will mark the debut of four new faces.”

The upcoming web series will explore the lives of college students in an urban backdrop, highlighting the challenges, friendships, and dreams that shape young adulthood. This genre has seen growing popularity on OTT platforms, with titles like Kota Factory and Mismatched resonating strongly with viewers. Notably, if this project comes to fruition, it will mark Alia Bhatt’s second collaboration with Amazon Prime Video, following Poacher.
On the professional front, Alia Bhatt is currently shooting for Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, where she stars alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The film is slated for release on March 20, 2026. She is also set to lead Alpha, the first female-centric installment in the YRF Spy Universe, co-starring Sharvari, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor, with a Christmas 2025 release planned. Additionally, reports indicate that Alia is in discussions with Kalki 2898 AD director Nag Ashwin for a new feature, and she is also linked to Chamunda, a film from the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe.
