The prestigious 69th National Film Awards was announced on Thursday at the National Media Center, New Delhi and it was live-streamed by the Press Information Bureau on their official YouTube and Facebook channels.

Kriti Sanon won the Best Actress award for Mimi, while Pankaj Triptahi walked away with the Best Supporting Actor award for the Laxman Utekar directorial.

Starring Alia Bhatt in the lead and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Gangubai Kathiawadi won National Award 2023 for Best Actress, Best Editing, Best Dialogue Writer and Best Makeup.

SS Rajamouli’s epic period action drama RRR, starring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in a special appearance, bagged the National Award for Best Film providing wholesome entertainment, in addition to accolades for Action Direction, Choreography, and Special Effects.
The song Naatu Naatu had won the Oscar in the Best Original song category at the 95th Academy Awards.

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect – Amazon Prime Video
Directed, produced, written by R Madhavan, who headlined the film is well, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect won the Best Feature Film at the 69th National Film Awards. The film is based in the former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan.

The biographical war-drama Shershaah, based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, won the Special Jury Award at the prestigious National Award. The movie starred Sidharth Malhotra in the titular role.
