Farhan Akhtar took to Instagram today to officially announce Don 3!
Though the post was sans caption, the video spelled out a stylish ‘3‘ followed by ‘A new era begins’. Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly be replaced by Ranveer Singh in the sequel.
Farhan hasn’t yet officially disclosed if Ranveer is headlining Don 3 with this new announcement though. He pleaded with the fans to graciously love the new Don like how they praised SRK and Amitabh Bachchan.
“A new era of Don begins in 2025,” – he wrote.

It was previously reported that Don 3 teaser might be attached to the prints of OMG 2 and Gadar 2 – arriving in cinemas this Friday (11 August). Don 3 will go on floors after Ranveer is done with shooting Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra.
