Rapper-singer Yo Yo Honey Singh has allegedly received a death threat from gangster Goldy Brar.
He received a voice note from a man who claimed to be Goldie – the prime accused in Sidhu Moosewala murder case.
As reported by India TV, on Wednesday, Honey Singh reached to the Delhi Police headquarters to file a complaint after his manager Rohit Chabra received a threat note from a person who introduced himself as the Canada-based gangster and demanded Rs 50 lakhs.
Reportedly, his manager continued receiving random calls and voice notes from the same phone number.
“I was in America when my manager got threat calls in which death threats were given to me. I have given a complaint to the police commissioner and he said they will probe it. I think the Special Cell will probe it. I have given all the info and evidence to them.”
– Honey Singh said.
“I’m scared. This is the first time that I have received such a threat. My entire family is scared. Who isn’t scared of death? I have always been scared of one thing, and that’s death. I have asked for security, for protection. The call is from an international number. A few of them are calls and some are voice notes.”
