Project K movie release date postponed?
Starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead, the film was slated to hit theatres on 12 January 2024!
Directed by Nag Ashwin, Project K is one of the expensive sci-fi dramas with an alleged budget of Rs 400 crores.
If this report is to be believed, the release date of Project K has been pushed due to Big B’s injury allegedly.
Big B had earlier gotten severely injured on the sets of the highly-anticipated movie. Since the megastar’s fatal injury, his recovery process has been slow.
“It is still not clear how long it would take Bachchan saab to resume normal shooting, and the director (Nag Ashwin) and producers (Vyjayanthi Movies) are in no hurry. They are putting no pressure on Bachchan saab to resume shooting. They will wait for as long as it takes. But it is unlikely now that Project K will make its January 2024 release date.”

For the unversed, Amitabh Bachchan had earlier revealed that his rib cartilage popped and broken and he suffered a muscle tear while shooing for an action scene in Hyderabad.
According to reoprts, as Bachchan awaits for complete healing, the shooting of Project K has been indefinitely postponed.
Even through Big B has resumed work, he is proceeding with his shooting schedule at a slower pace.
