1. VFX’s Hollywood Connection

Brahmastra and the Astraverse is a visual delight. Did you guys know the VFX and visual effects were done by DNEG, a British-Indian studio that has also worked on internationally hit movies like Dune and Inception.

2. Previously The Film Was Titled – Dragon

On his Instagram, Ayan once had revealed that Brahmastra was originally titled – Dragon.

During the motion-poster launch in 2019, Ayan revealed the reason behind the title change. He reportedly said –

“I don’t know how this news got out, maybe I had mentioned it once on social media. Actually, when Dragon was the title of the film, that time, we had not thought about it. Shiva, in the film, has the power of fire so I wrote the name Dragon on the script. But the film was always rooted and inspired by Indian culture and history. So when the time came to give the title, Brahmastra was always the right title for the film.”

3. Ranbir’s Character Name Was ‘Rumi’

Yes, Ranbir’s character was previously named Rumi, heavily inspired by the famous 13th century Persian poet.

4. Ranbir – The Co-Producer Of Brahmastra

In the trailer, Ranbir Kapoor has been credited as one of the co-producers of Brahmastra.

5. Nagarjuna’s Comeback To Bollywood

Brahmastra marks South superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni’s comeback to Bollywood after almost two decades. Nagarjuna’s last Hindi film was LOC: Kargil (2003).
