Aamir Khan and Manisha Koirala’s Mann received a heartwarming reaction from the fans but not many know that the makers had Aishwarya Rai as the first choice of the film. After Aishwarya declined the offer, Tabu and Nandita Das were offered the role but they too didn’t take up the project.

A remake of the Hollywood movie, Sleeping With The Enemy, saw Manisha in the lead role. However, Madhuri Dixit was offered the lead role initially but she could not accept the project due to her busy schedule and that’s when Manisha got the role.
6- 1942: A Love Story
Manisha’s performance in 1842: A love story is loved widely but in reality, the movie was made keeping Madhuri Dixit in mind as she made a lovely pair with Anil Kapoor and fans loved them. However, Madhuri could not continue the project, and Manisha was offered the role.
7- Kachche Dhaage
Kachehce Dhaage is known for its songs and action scenes. The lead females in the movie were Manisha Koirala and Namrata Shirodkar but Manisha was not the first choice of the movie. The makers first offered Manisha’s role to Mayuri Kango but later she was replaced by Manisha.
