Allu Arjun Gets Bail In Theatre Stampede Case!
The stampede took place on December 4 at Sandhya Theatre, resulting in the death of a 35-year-old woman named Revathi and the hospitalisation of her nine-year-old son, Sri Teja, due to asphyxiation.
On December 6, Allu Arjun had expressed his condolences to the bereaved family and announced a donation of ₹25 lakh as a goodwill gesture. He had also pledged to cover their medical expenses.
Initially, after his arrest, a lower court placed the actor in judicial custody for 14 days. However, he appealed to the Telangana High Court, which granted him interim bail for four weeks.

The court emphasized that Allu Arjun, like any other citizen, has the right to life and liberty. It rejected the Telangana government’s argument that the actor should have anticipated the risk of such an incident occurring. The court pointed out that Arjun had obtained the necessary permissions and questioned whether he could be held directly responsible for the tragedy.
While sympathizing with the victim’s family, the court maintained that the actor could not be deprived of his rights.
